The pastor at one of our campuses briefly mentioned this passage of scripture today, and it resonated with me a lot as we have entered a new year. The passage is from Isaiah 1:18: "" Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow...”
How beautiful that the first Sunday of the year we were blessed with snow. It was a nice little reminder this am that God has long forgotten my sins. He is in the business of working ALL things out for my good. Hence the snow, my face, and the picture not being in color. None the less, I hope the same for you. So as you look outside of your window, play in the snow or as you reflect on doing any one of those things today, recall those sweet memories of His mercy, His grace, and his faithfulness. God loves you, and my prayer for everyone is that this year He will reveal to your heart and mind the countless ways in which he has blotched out mistakes of your past and long forgiven you. He has made and continues to make all things new. Happy Sunday! ❤❤ #selfiesunday #2016 |
