22 Must Read Books During & After (W)rec(K)onciliation

My friends often ask me what books they should read to expand their world-views on Race in America. Here are many of the books I've read, with a few I'm currently reading that I've shared with them. This list is growing. However, it's a great place to start and has something for every type of knowledge seeker — for example, the person who needs statistical evidence to support unfamiliar ideologies and the person who likes a good personal story that results in an emotional response. All are helpful books or content to read during and after (W)rec(K)onciliation.

  • The Autobiography of Dr. Martin Luther King (Edited by Clayborne Carson)
  • Strength to Love by Dr. Martin Luther King

My name is Eunice and I am just an everyday twenty something year old trying to make sense of what it means to be a young professional, female, and Nigerian American living in this crazy, fun, and serendipitous world.
